Leadership

Youth Worship Leader

Combining my love of Music with my love of serving others, I founded the Youth Worship programming for Grace Chapel Watertown's Youth Ministry. This work involves, organizing a group of volunteer musicians, scheduling weekly rehearsals, planning song sets, organizing materials (sheet music, Song Keys),handling the Church's tech and sound system, and performing 2-3 contemporary worship songs.

HOBBIES

...

Video Game Developer

Instruments

DRUMS:

Since being introduced to drums in 2017, my love for percussion has grown into a committed hobby. I volunteer for my church's band most Sundays, which includes attending Thursday evening rehearsals and performing with the group during two services. My goal is to energize the audience and create an engaging atmosphere.

GUITAR:

Ever since I was big enough to hold a Ukulele, I loved the magical and often soothing nature of guitar. Being a drummer, I believed there would never be a world in which both guitar and drummers could coexist within a single identity. However, one spontaneous day in February of 2025, I decided to go to my local music store and purchase an acoustic guitar. Wanting to level up my means of serving my Church, I decided to begin leading Worship for the Youth HS and MS ministries in Grace Chapel Watertown. While I'm not anywhere near a John Mayer, I have confidently led a community not just through an arrangement of chords, but through moments of praise, and bonding.

Experiences

Puerto Rico

Every other year, my high school take's all students taking Spanish, to a Spanish-speaking country. This year, I was given the opportunity to  participate in a GlobalWorks excursion to Puerto Rico. During the trip, my classmates and I collaborated to pour a sturdy cement foundation (referred to by the family as a "topper") for a hallway and two rooms in a local family's home. This experience deepened my appreciation for my strong work ethic and reaffirmed my knack for forming meaningful connections with others.

Harvard Self Driving Cars + AI Summer Camp

In this program, I learned the fundamentals of Python (Programming Language), and how to utilize python's tools to aid in statistical analysis. Throughout the 2-week program, guest speakers give mini discussions relating to machine learning and AI topics. By the end of the 2 week program groups constructed controllable cars with image recognition, and converted these mini cars into mini self driving vehicles.
