Responsibilities:
· Assist in project documentation and record-keeping, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
· Collaborate with project engineers to review and process subcontractor and supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budget constraints.
· Support project scheduling efforts by updating project schedules, monitoring progress, and identifying potential delays or conflicts.
· Aid in the coordination of project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and distributing action items to relevant stakeholders.
· Assist in bidding process by reviewing contract documents, estimating, and helping prepare proposals.
· Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries of materials and equipment.
· Provide administrative support to the project team, including filing documents, maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems, and managing project correspondence.
· Contribute to the preparation of project reports and presentations, summarizing project status, milestones, and potential risks.
· Participate in project meetings and site visits to gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.
· Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management.
· Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and some knowledge of scheduling software including P6.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work performed.
· Basic knowledge of construction industry practices, terminology, and regulations.
· Willingness to learn and take on new challenges, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.
