I started off as a painter, simply just painting boat accessories and putting them together, then I learned to box and ship them, started to work on some boats some just doing little things like putting accessories on or helping someone with tools or just to simply hold things in place. Moving forward I started to learn to wire them, then I started to weld some, and to fabricate things like decks or benches or seat hatches and gun boxes and gun treys. I still do all of these things daily just depends on the work we’re needing done to each boat, I deal with customers almost daily helping them pick out things for their boats or just helping them drop off their boat and letting them tell me what they’re wanting. I handle pick ups as well so when a customer wants to pick up their boat make sure they like everything and there is zero issues with our work and that they are satisfied and have paid.
For mr. Canopy I was a “helper”. I worked with a crew of 4 guys, two welders to helpers. We would build gas station Canopy’s. My role was to make sure my welder had everything he needed before he needed it. So handing tools any other equipment when needed, I would hang beams, cut beams, put up the panels all around it and paint the main poles.
I would stock shelf’s all across the general merchandise side of the store, and continue to keep the shelf’s neat.
