Valve Crew:

• Replacing a multitude of Valves within our distribution system anywhere from 6-12"
• Excavation by using tools such as Jack hammers, clay spades, hand shovels, as well as Vactor trucks.
• Snap Cutting and replacing Pipe in order to repair, replace, or install new gate, and butterfly valves.
• Use of hand tools such as Pneumatic Impact drills, socket wrenches, pipe wrenches, grinders, pipe cutters, and oxygen and acetylene torches.
• Preform preventative maintenance by exercising valves daily to ensure the quality and extend the life span of our valves within the system by using turning trucks and the Valve buddy tool.

Leaks Crew:

• Repairs on our distribution system from 6"-12" lines using couplings
• Service line replacements, and meter repairs/ Replacements
• Replace customers AMS(Angle meter stops)
• Run new services from our main at the corporation stop to the customers Meter box AMS
• Respond to any emergency's regardless the time or day and work as a crew to get people back in service as quickly as possible.

Sewer crew:

• Cleaning with a combo Vactor, and Collecting video with a CCTV truck to ensure the cleanliness and integrity of our collection system.
• Operated the front end of a Combo with Jetter to clean collections system
• Operate back end of the CCTV truck.
• Make repairs with patches by using packers and air tanks.

Hydrant crew:

• Preventive maintenance by the flushing of hydrants
• Greasing and maintaining the hydrants, and their mechanical components
• Torching and replacing old Dry barrel hydrant

Studied and Received my Distribution Operator 1 Certification within my three monts of employment.

As a Plumber/ Pipefitter we assemble, install, and repair pipe systems according to plans and plumbing codes. They work with piping systems that move liquid, gas, or semisolid material. Plumbers and Pipefitters also install plumbing for rainwater capture, gray water, or solar panel systems.
