I am writing to express my enthusiastic application for the Bachelor in Business Administration program at IFM, commencing in October 2025. As a student who has completed the official IBB Diploma Program at the American School of Yaoundé (AISOY), I am eager to further my education in a dynamic environment that aligns with my multicultural background and career aspirations.
This diverse educational experience has allowed me to become fluently bilingual in English and French, providing me with a unique perspective that I believe will enrich the academic community at IFM.
Throughout my time in the Diploma Program, I have encountered both challenges and significant growth. In my first year (DP 1), I faced difficulties in various subjects, but as I transitioned into DP 2, I implemented effective study strategies that led to marked improvements in my academic performance. My experience in IB Economics has ignited my passion for business, making the program which IFM offers me an ideal fit for my future goals.
Outside of academics, I have immersed myself in music, which has profoundly influenced my career aspirations. I aim to become an administrator of a music recording label while also pursuing my passion as a recording artist. This dual focus stems from my desire to foster creativity and support the careers of other artists through leadership and sound economic strategies. My musical journey began at the age of four with piano lessons, and I have since expanded my skills to include drums and bass guitar. I have performed in various recitals and mini-concerts, where I not only honed my craft but also gained valuable experience in collaboration and leadership. As part of leadership, I’ve led mini-recitals in 2013, 2017 and 2019 outside of school as fundraisers in order to raise money to help orphanages in Yaoundé. I’ve also led my school’s very first mini-orchestra, which was new to my school since music isn’t widely taught in schools found in Cameroon. Recently, I’ve led an After School Activity where I mentor students in Grades 6-8 to produce their own songs, which means that they get to develop their creative writing skills and their artistic skills. Unrelated to music, I’ve also solidified my leadership skills as I’ve been involved in Student Council where I was tasked to brainstorm along with the other Student Council representatives on events that should be held at school. Student Council not only developed my leadership skills, but has had a very positive impact on my innovative skills and my confidence as I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone to discuss many of my new ideas. In brief, since I’ve developed my leadership and collaborative skills through these experiences, it comes to show that I’ve further amplified my commitment to pursuing a career in Business administration intertwined with the music industry, where I can leverage my business acumen to make a meaningful impact.
In addition to my artistic endeavors, I am currently collaborating with DBN Music Group, a record label in Ireland, where I am gaining practical experience as an artist, producer, and executive. I recognize that to effectively manage a music company, I need a solid foundation in business principles, which is why I am eager to pursue a Bachelor in Business Administration at the esteemed institution of IFM.
Not only am I drawn to IFM the establishment, I’m also particularly drawn to pursue my education in the country of Switzerland, due to its bilingual system, and its ability to provide a secure environment to many people of different cultural backgrounds which is a key to achieve my career goals. I am excited about the prospect of contributing my innovative ideas and diverse experiences to the academic community at IFM, and Switzerland which both foster cultural diversity and collaboration.
In conclusion, I am eager to pursue my academic career in Switzerland to engage in my Bachelor in Business Administration, where I believe I can thrive and contribute positively to my community. I appreciate your consideration of my application and look forward to the opportunity to become a part of your thriving nation.

I am a driven Human Rights student with hands-on experience turning values into action, from supporting vulnerable families in Armenia to coordinating social projects in Malmö.
