I started working there during college. I was trained to scoop ice cream, make milkshakes, malts, and sundaes. Once I got more advanced in the job, I was taught how to make cake and decorate them as well as cookies and brownies. I used my customer service skills to talk to customers and help them with making choices or getting what they wanted. As months went on in the job I was taught how to open and close the shop as well as handling money and the drawer. I left the job because I was transferring schools and am now back in Monroe Michigan,
I worked at a food truck and we traveled to different locations in Michigan but originated from Monroe Michigan. I worked there for 4 years, starting off as a cashier and slowly learned how to do everything else such as cook the food and run the food truck. I trained new employees how to work the register and taught them customer service and how to great somebody that came up to the window. The job was mainly in the summer because of the weather but we did winter work as well. I left the job because I was leaving Monroe to go to College.
