Aubrey Powell

I’ve worked at gingerbread kids academy since I was 16 years old. I started off as an assistant afternoon teacher but quickly during covid entered a lead teacher role of the toddler room. I’ve learned how to time manage due to having a set schedule & disciplined time limits with activities for the children. I’ve also learned great leadership skills as well as teamwork skills. I’m one to respect my coworkers & help out in anyway possible to make the work day a smooth one for everyone! I’ve worked managing the front desk, which includes answering the phones, taking down notes, & writing/ sending communication letters home to parents. I have great communication skill, I was responsible of communication with the parents to fully understand their child or any concerns they might’ve had. I’ve trained new employees & got them up a great skill level with little improvement needed. I enjoy coming into work everyday with a smile & making sure myself as well as other employees have a stress free environment.
