PROJECT BLOWED Open-Mic Nights [Behringer X-Air18]

Open-mic workshop + Youth events + Art walk

• Established in 1994. Featured in THIS IS THE LIFE [debut film by Ava Du'Vernay, 2008]
• Collaborated with producers and performers to determine and achieve desired sound for weekly productions, the monthly Art Walk + various road tours/spot dates.
• Supervised all aspects of audio + stage production (input lists, PA, stage management, hospitality and resources for 600+ productions over last 25+ years.
• Fully maintain and operate all audio components, backline + merch for in-house multimedia, contracted clients, community build organizations, village merchants and festivals.

JUNETEENTH FESTIVAL '23 [Yamaha TF-3]

• Prepared for Live performances by selecting and setting up main PA, monitors, microphones, DI boxes, side-fill. subs, backline + digital console.
• Performed sound quality checks, wedge and FOH mixing.
• Collaborated with clients to determine project scopes and set milestones.
• Performed site surveys to determine and design appropriate setup and audio equipment needs for various types of performers + keynotes.
• Prepared, packed and transported audio equipment for event.

PETER TOSH FESTIVAL [Tascam Model 24]

• Designed and installed main PA, monitors, stage, truss, LED wall, wireless microphones + IEMs. Annual event in honor of legendary reggae band, The Wailers.
• Set up, maintained and operated audio recording equipment and performed troubleshooting and audio system + stage/truss breakdown.

THE MICHAEL JACKSON EXPERIENCE [Yamaha CL5+CL3]

• Oversaw all aspects of stage prep, audio mixing + build and strike in-house audio equipment.
• Alleviated issues between performers on set to keep stage times on track and avoid delays or technical difficulties.
• Experience + hands-on operation of the in-house sound console, DANTE system, audio zones + lighting elements.

KiDS iMAGiNE NATiON [Allen & Heath Qu-32]

• Worked alongside the Production Manager to implement correct BGM, stage plots, input lists and microphones, instruments, vocals, IEM, FOH and wedge mixing.
• Created and maintained BGM sound libraries & playback + set up condenser/ambient microphones for audience, a really tall robot, elves and Mrs. Claus.
• Operated and troubleshot sound systems on both stages pre-event.
• Prepared stage and audio for daily performances

JAPANESE HERITAGE FESTIVAL [Midas M-32]

• Set up and tested equipment prior to events, broadcasts, and recordings.
• Controlled microphones, sound levels and outputs to produce high-quality tracks for variety of clients.
