Summary
I am a licensed and nationally registered Occupational Therapist with 16 years of direct care experience treating physical and mental health diagnoses affecting pre-K students on through older adults, across various settings. Upon graduation from Columbia University's Occupational Therapy Master's degree program, my career began in acute care, leading to sub-acute settings, homecare and pediatric school-based therapy. I then managed a rehabilitation clinic that included physical rehabilitation as well as mental health and memory care. I have current working knowledge of medical, school and state regulations, experience with IEPs, ARDs, IDEA, 504B plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid billing.
