  • Evaluate children to recognize developmental progress and delays for eligibility into Early Intervention services.
  • Communicate respectfully and thoughtfully with parents and guardians by remaining sensitive to different families' cultures, values and needs.
  • Develop level-appropriate activities and coach caregivers to support skill-building needs.
  • Provide information on developmental milestones to coach families on incorporating modeled interventions into children's daily routines.
  • Construct age-appropriate goals and outcomes to assist children with special needs and developmental delays.
  • Perform early intervention services and documented results.
  • Create and manage weekly personal schedule to accommodate visits with families, initial evaluations and reviews.
  • Provide community resources and education to families to increase knowledge and advocacy skills.
  • Use BTOTS to compile, maintain and file all records and documents.
  • Design language-based activities to promote language skills using curricula of Hanen Early Language Program and others.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, parents and other specialist to transition children into school district programs (Part B).
  • Assist families in navigating the social services system, including applying for benefits, accessing resources and connecting with other family support services.
