In 2022, I took part in an open pedagogy project via a class titled HDFS Contemporary Families in the US at Linn-Benton Community College. My final term project on obesity was featured as a contribution in the book "Contemporary Families in the US: An Equity Lens 2e" by Elizabeth B. Pearce.
As a scholarship recipient, I was obligated to provide services to the International Programs, which included student recruitment, event planning, and social media management. This program allowed me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds around the world and enhanced my leadership and event organization skills.
Through my involvement with the Student Leadership Council at Linn-Benton Community College, I have also participated in community-oriented volunteer opportunities, such as the local Christmas Storybook Land event.
