Probably the greatest training I have had for this position with SSP, was while I took care of my mother after her stroke in 2009. I was her primary caregiver for most of the 11.5 years, until her death. I found that I have a great amount of patience, organizational skills, and comprehension of what was needed. I found that it was very important for me to attend her appointments to make sure that the correct information was received and acted upon. I found that I gave her a great amount of security and peace by just being there for her. She could relax and know that she was well cared for as she was slipping into dementia. It was an honor to care for her.
Same as in Louisiana. We had just moved to where there was more work.
By this time he and others had started a National Flooring Service, which required that I spend a lot of time talking to Inspectors and Flooring Manufacturer Claims analysts.
I ran my husband's Flooring Inspection businesses.
I scheduled appointments and set up his route.
I dealt with flooring manufacturers when necessary. (Not very often, but enough to develop a good working relationship with them)
