
Current 4rd year student at Denison University studying for a B.S. in Geoscience. Have experience with field studies and biological sampling with the Ohio EPA which required the identification of many Ohio Fish, as well as data entry during the off season. Employed by Denison University as a CA during the 22-23 school year, was tasked with facilitating and creating a nurturing environment for first year students in assigned areas. Worked for the ODNR as a Mineral Resource Management Intern and learned how to scan and online file a variety of permits and map for current Industrial Minerals operations statewide.
Sampled Macroinvertebrates in various river basins in Ohio to help assess overall water quality in that area.
Attend monthly meetings to see a variety of geology based lectures and talk with many group members. Go to multiple club field trips around the state to collect and catalog minerals specimens. MSHA safety certified in order to collect within quarries. Help setup, run, and tear down of the annual gems and minerals show hosted by the Columbus Rocks and Minerals Society.
