My responsibility is to ensure the patients we are watching are safe. We receive an order sheet on the patient they want us to observe and we have to make sure that the patient’s information is accurate when we enter it in our data base, it is very important that we have the correct information on the patients we are watching and the medical devices they use if they have any. We watch patients who are high risks, elders with dementia, patients who have medical devices, etc. We also make phone calls out to the nurses to receive report on the patients and if any concerns arise during our watch.
