Analyzed and compared the Chief Nursing Officer positions in the Veterans Health Administration, and commercial healthcare industry as a benchmark for a DHA CNO office. Produced a DHA CNO budget incorporating initial and sustainment costs for a CNO office. Developed a CNO Resourcing Course of Action brief for the DHA Resource Overview Board meeting to justify the funding of a dedicated CNO program office. This briefing outlines the existing nursing shortage and impact in the CNO program is not resourced. Assisted in standing-up the Sandy Recovery Division to manage the majority of the $3 billion of federal funds to assist in recovery. Developed and delivered over 1,000 training, assisted the client with compliance with the Voluntary Compliance Agreement, developed technical assistance materials, and created job aids. Converted policies into Visio flow charts, which outlined business processes, so that stakeholders understood how to execute policies successfully.
  • Change Management Consultant, National Response Framework/Integrated Emergency Management Course Revisions, Federal Emergency Management Agency.
