Work History

Construction Operator 2 / Service Technician

Atmos Energy
02.2023 - Current
  • I do my part in maintaining the standard of the safest provider of natural gas. Go above and beyond to ensure our natural gas practices are safe for all involved (first party, second party and third party contractors - civilians and home owners).
  • Increase productivity, train new team members on proper equipment use and best practices. Show them the ropes so to speak. Teach them the secrets of the service area that can only be learned through experience and hours in the field (locations of un-locatable lines, hidden meter locations, mapped lines that don't exist etc.). Thoroughly explain procedures and policy in a way a new employee can grasp and understand. Mentor and sign off on field training as a Field Mentor. Etc.
  • Improved construction efficiency by operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and mini excavators.
  • Contributed to successful project completion by providing timely maintenance and repairs for all construction equipment used on site.
  • Practicing field procedures and contributing to the proper installation of gas mains and services as well as the excavation, repairs and replacements of said gas lines.
  • Tested and qualified for 32 OQs (operation qualifications) that I currently hold and must maintain in order to continue being a part of daily operations.
  • ON SERVICE SIDE - I practice time management of the highest standard by balancing my availability throughout the week between a large influx of line locates, emergency calls, daily service calls, meter read routes, validation orders, online courses, emails, and contractor meets.
  • I have properly completed and submitted thousands of line locates on our underground facilities for contractors, and in my two years and some change at this company, I have only had one at fault damage.
  • I have completed hundreds of service orders and have never had catastrophes occur, while maintaining a good reputation with the public, and delivering excellent customer service under high pressure, high stakes working conditions.
  • I often volunteer and travel to help other service areas when they are overloaded with their workload.
  • I have developed and maintained great work relationships with contractors in town.
  • I have ran many emergency calls avoiding disastrous consequences for myself and my community. Including evacuations, road closures, late night emergency situations, leading leak investigations involving police and firefighters, etc.
  • I have corrected many billing issues for our billing department in dallas.

HVAC Technician

Bradbury Brothers Heating And Air Conditioning
02.2022 - 01.2023

Pipeline Surveyor

Titan Corrosion Services
10.2019 - 01.2022

  • We surveyed pipelines (walk along the right of ways) checking the cp (cathodic protection) looking for anomalies (corrosion, cracks, dents, holidays, etc.). Wherever the pipeline goes, we walk.
  • We set up interrupters on rectifiers in order to run the correct cycle needed to achieve the proper interruption cycle in the current, or shift in millivolts of current, to complete the survey.
  • Drive all across the country in order to get to the project site.
  • on the job every day by 6 AM.
  • Started as a wire puller (bottom of the totem pole), and worked my way up to crew lead position, where I was in charge of a crew and running projects.
  • My crew held the company record of 25.5 miles of completed surveyed pipeline in a day.
