Austin Jones

I have a strong background in solar installation, plumbing, welding, and general construction, with hands-on experience in both residential and commercial environments. In my previous role as a Senior Solar Installer at LGCY Power, I led installation crews, improved job site efficiency, and ensured systems were completed safely and up to code. I also worked as a plumbing apprentice, where I learned pipe fitting, system layout, and leak testing under the guidance of licensed plumbers. More recently, I've been gaining experience as a welding apprentice, where I've been learning stick welding techniques, blueprint reading, and proper metal preparation. I'm focused on mastering precision, safety, and weld quality while continuing to build my technical skills. I also completed fire science training at the Weatherford College Fire Academy, which reinforced my discipline, teamwork, and safety awareness. I take pride in being reliable, adaptable, and hardworking, and I'm actively looking for opportunities where I can grow in the trades and take on new challenges.
