AMN Austin M. Keith

Perform isochronal inspections as a 3-level qualified personnel in AFSC 2A534, working on the KC-135R aircraft with the 161st ARW. Being part of the team with many skilled 7-levels, my main duties are assisting with inspections, maintenance, and all other related duties.

I am a DSG, and with that, my duties include:

• 900 and 1800 hour inspections
• Aircraft periodic wash and lubrication
• Staying up to date with certifications and qualifications
• assisting in backshop maintenance
• Assisting on the flight line with launches and recoveries

Responsible for all weekend shifts: morning, evening, and overnight. Training and developing managers and clerk subordinates is one of my main duties in addition to the following:

• Assisting in daily operations by managing inventory levels and stock replenishment
• Handling customer inquiries effectively to maintain high levels of satisfaction
• Monitoring store cleanliness and organization to uphold company standards
• Participating in team meetings to discuss operational challenges and solutions
• Working closely with other assistants to make sure that everyone was aware of their responsibilities
• Supporting team members by training new hires on company policies, procedures, and the daily assignment worksheet
• Coordinating with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of products and services, as well as the accuracy of stocking their products
• When the 1A is away I am the right hand man of the Store Manager
