My duties as an electrical apprentice /equipment operator is to dig trenches with an excavator. Once done digging trench I will start running conduit from one place to another. Whether it be from a junction box in the field to the meterskid Motor Operated Valve (MOV) or it can the Master Control Center (MCC) to the compressor building, cooling fans, transmitters in the such as Temperature Indicator Transmitter (TIT) Pressure Indicator Transmitter (PIT). Once the conduit is run to the correct location I will begin to put a jetline in the conduit to get ready to pull wire. Then will begin to pull wire to the correct location according to the cable schedule. I will prep wire in the control panels, junction boxes, transmitters, MOV’s.

My job was to lay out the toe plate, banding cut catwalk grading to length and width then according to what blueprints showed. Then move over to the welding line and fabricate and weld pieces together.
