  • Currently I have been working for Target in the role of a Service Advocate
  • My role while working is Guest Returns, Pick-Ups as well as Guest concerns and questions
  • Through this work I have been able to better my communication and problem solving skills as every Guest that comes in has a unique need and problem they are hoping to solve
  • Some other aspects of my role is to properly dispose of items that the store can no longer sell as well as restocking merchandise that has been returned to the store along with many more assorted activities that are a part of the daily aspects of the work
  • In October of 2023 I was promoted to handling the Cash Office Operations for the day. This involves opening for the day for both Guest Service, Checklanes and Drive-Up departments which includes handling of keys, store assets and money.
  • Alongside Depositing cash from the previous day, audits of the vault, preparing money to be sent to the bank and mailing out items to their correct destination. Alongside meeting with outside store personal for pick-ups and other meetings.

  • My main responsibility was to stock the shelves of the store with merchandise, clean up the store and make sure the items were in their correct spots within the store
  • Some other tasks I would do frequently were markdowns, inventory, ticket making, price checking, working in the stockroom, putting together furniture/ home items that need assembly as well as unloading pallets of product while opening and distributing them into their proper places
  • I worked in the home department, the biggest department for not only sales but merchandise as well.
