I am a 18 year old student getting ready to graduate high school looking for a late spring/early summer job. I'm a hardworking young adult looking to help anywhere that's needed. In any job I do I make sure to put in 100% effort and make sure to effectively and swiftly complete my duties. I have experience working two jobs, one being very people oriented at the big cooperation, Sam's Club. And the other being self employed, lawn mowing, which taught me another realm of the working world. Lastly, I take pride in be trustworthy and promise all my employers that I will work like a 30 year veteran of the job despite my younger age.
For the past five years I have mowed three lawns in the Dallas area and maintained them for my family, Although I don't get paid for this job and the hours are short I still believe the experience of hard labor can be good for anyone.
At this job I was in charge of keeping the cart storage full and ready for customers and also clearing the parking lot of litter and foreign debris. I also responded to radio requests for customers who needed help loading the groceries into their vehicles. Lastly I made sure every senior citizen had access to a charged motorized cart and would drive one out to their parking spot if needed. One important thing I learned about the working world while working this job was always listen to the customer first. Even when I had customers who were picky with the way their groceries were loaded into the car, I found it was easiest to always listen to their advice even if it may not of been the most effective. It taught me that putting out the extra effort to make the customer happy is always worth it.
Like any young adult, I like to game in my free time. Over the years I've played a variety of games ranging from the Nintendo consoles to the Xbox. I have lots of experience playing multiple genres of games and feel I could help a customer out if they had questions or needed recommendations.
