• Boiler Inspection preparation/ Annual Maintenance
• Refractory and Insulation repairs
• Boiler plumbing installations and repairs
• Measuring and planning
• (Installed 5 boilers)

Boilermaking(2nd Year):

• Refined mechanical skills and knowledge of steam systems
• Began learning more steam fitting and pipe fitting skills for installations
• Re-certified in 6g for project and earned permanent welding position
• Expanded welding skills and knowledge by getting the opportunity to do most the code welds
• learned how to use Dye-Penetrant Testing
• learned basic hand crane signals
• OSHA 30 certification
• Gained experience with Raypak/Rite/Parker/Kewanee boilers
• Gained much more understanding of steam systems and how to operate them
• (Installed 10-15 boilers)

Boilermaking(1st year):

• Learned new mechanical skills and how boiler/steam systems operate
• Refined stick welding skills and got the 6g pipe certification
• Earned lead welding position
• Helped along with 6 medium size boiler installations
• Did various Re-tubes for boilers
• Fabrication/Installation of a new boiler tube sheet
• various code welds completed
