Float pool RN venturing to a different unit each work day. Experience on med surge units, surgical units (general, vascular, orthopedic, cardiac), telemetry units, PCU, ICU, & CICU. Some experience with ER holds as needed. Occasional floats to behavioral health units as well.

Cardiac Tele travel RN at Prisma Healthcare in Greenville SC. This was a 9 month contract where I performed direct patient care on a floor unit.

Multiple flows to other units as needed & inner hospital floats as needed.

• Administered medications and monitored patient responses for optimal care.
• Educated patients and families on health management and discharge instructions.
• Documented patient assessments and vital signs in electronic health records accurately.
• Responded to patient needs, providing comfort and emotional support during treatments.
• Utilized critical thinking skills to assess clinical situations quickly and accurately.
• Trained and mentored new RNs on best practices, hospital policies and standards of care.
