I am currently a COII For ASPC-Winslow Kaibab Unit and I have been working for ADCRR for 4 years and 10 months I have had multiple different types of experiences that i think i could use to teach younger and inexperienced staff I have responded to multiple different emergency situations from overdoses to staff assaults. I have worked all custody levels except for a 3 yard. I have been trained visitation officer, some working experience with accountability mail and property, I was a K9 handler for 9 months and spent 1.5 years on Kaibab Unit. I have served as an FTO for the better part of 3 years and love to teach and be a positive modle for new staff.

  • Enforced ADCRR rules and regulations while maintaining a safe environment for inmates, staff, and public.
  • Employed de-escalation techniques in many situations to make safer in already dangerous environment and to maintain safety a security.
  • I served on TSU for a little under a year before being moved to K9.
  • Transported inmates to and from medical and dental appointments, work details, I have flown out (via) Gardian air with inmates on emergency transports on multiple occasions.
  • Supervised Inmates during meals, recreation time, work assignments, medical visits, court appearances, and other activities.
  • Performed security checks on visitors entering the facility as well as on packages being delivered to inmates.
  • Served as a visitation officer at Apache unit for 11 months
  • Responded to emergency situations such as overdoses and fights or staff assault's with appropriate force measures per the use of force options.
  • Assisted in training new Correctional Officers as an FTO since 2020 in proper safety protocols and techniques for dealing with difficult situations and or with Inmates.
  • I Served as A K-9 Handler for a year before going to Kaibab. During my time as a K-9 handler I was able to work with outside agencies during major call outs or in the event that other agencies collaborated with DOC for assist with durg interdiction
  • I have experience dealing with tough situations I've responded to multiple use of force incidents to include 13 medical responses for Inmates overdosing, Fighting, use of force with chemical agents deployed, Etc.
  • Assisted in training new Correctional Officers in proper safety protocols and techniques for dealing with difficult situations.
  • Current MAP score is 2.8
