  • Currently managing team of 25 engineers, 4 managers, and 1 team lead responsible for all aspects of design, development, and launch of Light Commercial Rooftop and Residential Package AC, Heat Pump, and Gas-Electric product.
  • Responsibilities also include sustaining engineering support for Light Commercial Rooftops, Split Systems, and Residential Package products.
  • Led the development of a brand new rooftop light commercial line consisting of 3-12.5T AC, Gas/Electric, and Heat Pumps, and then further redesign of the product line to meet new 2023 DOE regulations incorporating micro-channel outdoor heat exchangers.
  • Currently leading 3 teams to convert all product to low GWP refrigerants to meet 2025 regulations.

  • Managed team of 8 engineers responsible for all cost reduction, quality improvement, and manufacturing support for the legacy Fayetteville and Dayton, TN Goodman Manufacturing plants
  • This included support of 90% Furnace, PTAC, Splits Indoor, and all Package product (Residential and Light Commercial)
  • During this period, worked closely with QC and Technical Services to significantly improve the quality of the products supported
  • This was reflected in improvements in first pass yield, warranty data, and customer perception
  • Some examples were implementation of bushing mount pulleys for Light Commercial, elimination of process tubes on Residential Package, and redesign of PTAC plastic fan shroud to preventing cracking on mounting feet

  • Hired for newly formed Light Commercial Package team
  • Helped launch 3 to 20 ton LC product, the first of their kind for Goodman who had previously not participated the LC market
  • Was the lead engineer and project manager for 7.5, 8.5, & 12.5 ton and was key member of all other launches with responsibilities for controls / wiring, sheet metal, and accessories (economizers, roof curbs, smoke detectors, etc.)
  • After launch of the LC product, worked on development and launch of 5mm condenser coils and aluminum indoor coils for the Residential Package product
  • Was lead engineer and project manager for the Dual Fuel Residential Package launch which was also the first of its kind for Goodman
