
I provide acute care service to a diverse population such as pediatric, adolescence, and adult population with a multi specialty clinic. I evaluate a wide range of acute illness, including, but not limited to viral and bacterial respiratory infections, pulmonary issues, musculoskeletal injuries, urinary tract issues, women’s health and men’s health issues.
Simple procedures, including incision and drainage, and overseeing splinting. I am also responsible for determining if a patient requires a higher level of care for further evaluation of suspected cardiac issues, strokes, embolisms, or sepsis.
I order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing and prescribe medication. I counsel patients on health management and illness prevention and make timely referrals to specialist. I maintain accurate and timely documentation. I work closely with a team of physicians, other mid-level providers, and medical assistants to ensure the delivery of quality care.
Contributes to physician's effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommending options and courses of action; implementing physician directives
Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations, obtaining, updating and studying medical histories. Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic test, such as X-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results
Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections regimens, giving normal growth and development information; discussing family planning, providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living; promoting wellness and health maintenance
Weekly hospital rounding and ER consults, weekend on call hospital rounding and ER consults. In office procedure such as cystoscopy to evaluate for bladder cancer or for bladder cancer surveillance, BPH to evaluate for possible surgical intervention needed to make prostate smaller, hematuria, or removal of stent placement.
