- As a part of my study abroad program in Florence, Italy, I was enrolled in a class that included volunteering as a teacher's assistant for 4 hours a week, allotting 40 hours from January to May 2025.
- I spent 2 hours in a 4th-grade classroom and 2 hours in a high school English class. My role focused on helping Italian students improve their English language skills, primarily through conversation and engaging in interactive learning.
- In addition to working directly with students, I collaborated with the teachers on lesson planning, contributing ideas to enhance the students' learning experiences. This has been a valuable opportunity to observe various teaching methods, understand classroom dynamics, and gain firsthand experience in lesson development.
- My goal was to support these students' language acquisition while gaining knowledge and skills.

- My absolute favorite part of this internship was being able to build connections and relationships with these students that I will never forget. I also was able to observe them growing and learning for an entire school year.
