My Responsibilities at Scoops on 5th Included:

• Opening/Closing
• Serving customers (taking orders, scooping ice cream, grabbing bakery items, making milk shakes, sundaes, smoothies, coffees etc.).
• Ringing customers up at the register.
• Balancing the till at the end of shift.
• Cleaning/restocking both customer and employee areas.
• Deep cleaning when needed (such as defrosting the ice cream freezers).
• Baking cookies and prepping other baked goods.
• Handling deliveries.
• Marking inventory for ice cream/baked goods.
• Training staff members.
• Acting as shift lead.
• Creating the schedule each month.
• Ensuring food safety protocols were being followed.

My Responsibilities at Allen's Landscape and Irrigation Included:

• Digging ditches/trenches/holes for plants, water pipes, or fence posts.
• Prep work for planting/sod laying such as leveling the dirt.
• Laying sod.
• Securing plant bed liners.
• Spreading mulch/rocks for plant beds.
• Pulling weeds.
• Planting/watering at the job sites.
• Cleaning/sorting sprinkler parts and water pipes.
