Although I do not currently have experience working in a professional capacity, I have plenty of familiarity with children who have special needs. Both of my younger siblings have autism, and I have assisted in many aspects of their lives over the years. In my free time, I have helped them with homework assignments, schedules, self regulation, and various other life skills. I also have a lot of compassion and empathy for children in general, especially those with disabilities.
