Hands-on experience with blood glucose testing, subcutaneous administration of anticoagulants and insulin, patient assessment, vitals monitoring and safe medication administration. Additionally, aided patients with ADL's  in rehabilitation unit. 

Loma Linda Medical Center

Experience on units such as Transplant, Medical-surgical and Oncology. Hands-on experience with IV insertion, IV setup and troubleshooting, Foley insertion and management, and administration of blood products. Additional experience in ICU with ventilator-dependent patients and patients on CRRT. Monitoring of hourly vital sign monitoring and intake/output.  

Loma Linda University Medical Center Murrieta Campus

Experience on telemetry medical surgical unit obtaining hands-on skills with interpreting cardiac strips, educating patient and family regarding cardiac health, medication administration (PO, SQ, IV, IVPB) and head-to-toe and focused physical assessment. Further hands-on with ostomy care and colostomy bag emptying, and replacement of colostomy bag. 

Loma Linda Children's Hospital

Experience in a variety of units such as NICU, Maternity, PICU, Pediatric step-down, and Pediatric Medical-Surgical. Engaging in collaborative care with family and interprofessional team. Understanding and identifying developmental milestones in children and implementing distraction techniques during cares.
