Creekside High School Dreams Come True Club | 08.2024 - 06.2026
Dreams Come True is a club at Creekside High School where we fundraise money for our dreamer with health issues and throw them a party at the end of the year where we make one of their wishes come true such as sending them to Disney World.
I have learned by far the most from this club and have participated in it for two years.
I help the party run smoothly for the family and the dreamer and help them to have the best experience they can.
In this club I have learned valuable communication skills by working with the other members to quickly set up and clean up the dreamer party.
I have learned marketing techniques to help raise awareness for fundraising as well as skills to help gain more members to the club.
I have volunteered at many events for this club and they have all taught me valuable organization skills and teamwork.
I always am present at the meetings and this club has taught me to challenge myself and really think about how to make the club the best it can be.

Durbin Creek Elementary Parent-Teacher Association | 08.2024 - 06.2026
I have volunteered many times at Durbin Creek Elementary within not only the Parent-Teacher Association but also to get the school ready for the first day.
I have learned valuable organization skills as I have helped to sort textbooks and file folders for students and teachers.
I have learned to work well with others to run events such as dances, where I also was able to work with the students and their parents to make sure they had the best time they could.
I learned to work with a team to set up events quickly and efficiently as well as talked to the members of my team to learn where we would all be of the most help based on our skill sets.
I have also frequently helped set up spirit wear for events at the school by organizing clothes by sizes and cut while also making sure that they looked neat and presentable so customers could easily find what they were looking for. At these events I have learned to restock the items that are running low efficiently, learned how to help parents and students with questions about sizes or costs and have developed a greater scale of social skills to help customers have the best experience.

1 Month
Creekside High School Hispanic Honor Society | 03.2026 - 04.2026
I worked with the Hispanic Honor Society Organization at my school to help raise money for senior scholarships by selling Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Volunteering for this month-long event taught me many skills as I not only had to help record orders, sort flavors and help pack orders, I also learned to advertise and market the Bundt Cakes to my fellow students.
This fundraiser helped me to learn how to better manage my time as I had a limited amount of time to sell a certain number of Bundt Cakes and the team I worked with to package orders only had about an hour to package more than fifty orders.
I learned to keep money organized as I was responsible for the collection of money from each student and I learned to create a fast-moving system to pack orders and give them out to the correct students in time.
I learned more valuable communication skills as well as I had to work with fellow members of the club to help the fundraiser happen and I had to communicate with students picking up their orders.
Intern
5 Months
Patriot Oaks Academy Front Desk | 12.2023 - 05.2024
I was an intern in the front desk at Patriot Oaks Academy in my 8th grade year.
Here I helped the front desk staff with anything they needed which included helping the library print and cut out items for teachers, organizing files for the front office, walking younger students to their classes when dropped off and delivering packages to teachers' classrooms.
In this role I learned to work and communicate better with adults in stressful situations as the front office would become very busy.
I learned to improve my listening skills as I was frequently given complex directions to tasks I had not previously done before. Everyday in the front office I was given a new task that I had to adapt to and learn how to do quickly.
This internship taught me to have better time management as I normally had a limited amount of time to deliver many Amazon Packages and food deliveries to teachers classrooms.
I had to find the most efficient way to make sure every teacher had what they needed in a timely-manner.
I also improved my communication skills as I had to pass along information from teachers to the front office and vice versa.
A lot of the work I did in the front office was repetitive which taught me work would not always be the most fun but seeing the little things such as walking the younger kids to class or seeing the front office dressed up for spirit week helped me remember why I loved working in the front office and being a part of such an amazing team.
