Throughout my time in high school, I took part in these four organizations in varying degrees. Every day of the week, I could be found at either a band rehearsal, football game, or private lesson. Often times, the shows I participated in with the high school theatre group had rehearsals directly after my 3:30-5:50 band commitments, which left me getting home at 9:30-10:00 pm. These hours were tiring, but left me feeling very fulfilled throughout high school. Additionally, I was able to gain great time management skills, which helped me succeed in the rigors of being an honors student. I held leadership positions in most of the organizations I participated in, which encouraged me to push myself to be the best I could, whether that was clarinet performance, teaching marching skills to my peers, or remembering my lines for shows.
