I am a strong leader as I was co-captain of my volleyball team as a junior, and led my team to the most successful year our program has had. I've been on varsity indoor and beach volleyball since I was a freshman, so I have a strong work ethic and I follow through when I commit. I was also selected to be a Golden Leader ambassador at Westview because of my academic and athletic accomplishments and leadership ability. In this program, we would have meaningful conversations about how to persevere through struggles and success. We also had the chance to host a unity basketball game for students with special needs who wanted to experience being part of a team. We raised a lot of awareness, bringing in many spectators, and created special memories for the participants.
