Avery Collins-Winn

I like to think of myself as dedicated and versatile, with my experience at Yoked Farmhouse and Brewery, adept in animal care and customer service. I think I do best in roles requiring engaging communication, enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. I can manage diverse tasks, from livestock handling to food prep, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a commitment to hard work. I also take pride in my ability to work with children. I participated in the Teacher Academy program at Gig Harbor High School, in which we spent classroom time learning effective and healthy ways to communicate and teach children. We each spent the last 6 weeks of the class in an Elementary or Middle school classroom, with the grade of our choice. I chose a 5th grade class, in which I did my best to help them to learn effectively while also having fun and good experiences. I love working with kids and having the opportunity to brighten their day, especially because of my own experiences in the school system.
