While I was employed at White Trash Services my job included general to major repairs on various makes and models of trash hauling equipment. For example: Autocar, Mack, Freightliner, and International. Familiar with front and rear loading trash trucks with Heil, Mcpherson and Pakmor trash systems. Also including but not limited to Roll-off trucks and equipment. Performed general preventative maintenance. Such as: Oil and fuel filter changes, greased fittings and inspected all aspects of trucks/equipment, report and repair any damaged or faulty components. Performed wheel end work such as: Tires, brakes, wheel seals, wheel bearings, s-cam/bushings, brake chambers ext.
Rebuilt and inframed various engines such as: International DT570, Mack MP7, and Mack Etech. Worked with hydraulic and electrical systems such as: Hydraulic hose replacement, cylinder repair and replacement, cameras related to trash loading equipment. Worked with aftertreatment systems and performed necessary troubleshooting, repairs and aftertreatment regeneration when needed. Was expected to go on service calls in the field for any repairs needed. Performed Welding, cutting, heating and bending components various peices of trash equipment such as: dumpsters, 15-40 yard roll-off bins ext.
While I was employed at Dalton Trucking my job included minor to major repairs on various pieces of Oil Field heavy haul equipment. Such as: Pole, winch bed and tandem axle trucks. Vehicle makes include Peterbilt, Mack/Volvo, Western Star, Freightliner and KW. Performed preventative maintenance and inspection, wheel end work. Such as: Breaking down tires and replacing as needed,brakes, wheel seals, wheel bearings, s-cam/bushings, brake chambers, u-joints/carrier bearings ext. More major work includes but is not limited to radiator, water pump, belt, fan hub/clutch, air compressor, transmission, heavy duty clutch replacement, repairing HVAC systems ext. At times was required to weld and fabricate damaged components.
While I was employed at Limons Road Service I started as an entry level mechanic. My jobs included were minor repairs on over the road trucks and cars. Such as: oil changes, tire rotations, engine tune ups, brake jobs, wheel seals, bearings, s-cam/bushings ext. Had opportunity to work with more experienced mechanics on larger jobs including but not limited to heavy duty clutch replacement, re-sealing engines and transmissions, removing and replacing engines, overall troubleshooting ext.
While I was employed at DeCarolis Truck Rental I was new to the industry and mainly learned how to properly perform preventative maintenance and vehicle services including but not limited to engine oil and filter changes, greasing and lubricating fittings, repairing light and wiring issues, tire removal and replacement ext. Was required to pick up and deliver parts and vehicles at times along with taking service calls for after hour repairs.
