Avery Peters

Summer employment between Memorial Day and Labor Day. I have worked there for two consecutive summers. I spent most of my days interacting with tourists and beachgoers, answering questions, and maintaining the general upkeep of the beach. Cleaning and maintenance projects were a regular part of the job. Many of which included sweeping, cleaning restrooms, and landscaping. Another component of the job was dealing with and counting revenue after every shift.

Interacted with and assisted customers on the floor and at the register. Often helped customers locate items on the sales floor and gave them styling advice. Worked with money and became proficient with the register as well as learned skills pertaining to opening and closing guidelines. Marked and placed inventory on the sales floor as well as account for incoming merchandise in the back.
