Avery Schiesser

• Served as my high school NHS chapter's President for the 2022-2023 school year
• Coordinated and led weekly chapter meeting

• Coached my high school's JV girls team during the 2022 and 2023 summers

• Lead a group of 12 students to find 10 different service organizations in Austin and the surrounding area that we could send all 400+ students to

• Helped to develop well-rounded individuals by guiding them in balancing academic requirements with meaningful volunteering commitments.

• Nannied a little boy for a family in both the summer of 2022 and of 2023
• Provided a nurturing environment for the infant, ensuring his safety and well-being at all times
• Assisted with housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organized living environment
• Followed the parent's implemented routines and schedules

I participated in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Students of the Year campaign in both 2021 and 2022. In 2021 I was a team member and raised over $7,000 on my own. In 2022 I co-lead a team which collectively raised over $68,000.

As a team leader I:

• Boosted fundraising efforts, securing valuable donations through targeted campaigns.

• Worked as a lifeguard during the summers of 2020 and 2021

• Ensured swimmer safety by monitoring pool area and enforcing rules
