Avery Singletary

Avery Singletary is a student at Keller High School and performs with the Keller Area Youth Jazz Orchestra. He plays jazz Piano with big bands and jazz ensembles around the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He studies jazz piano with Dave Meder at UNT, jazz composition with Jack Lanhardt at UNT, and composition with Dr. Till Meyn at TCU. Avery plays many instruments in different ensembles, including Bass Trombone, French Horn, Trumpet, Flugelhorn, Piano, and Double Bass. He writes for many ensembles including Symphony Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, String Orchestra, Jazz Big Band, Clarinet Choir, Trumpet Ensemble, and Saxophone Ensembles.
