Highly dedicated homeschooled student graduating high school on July 31st, 2023, from Jackson, Wyoming. Has traveled to over 100 countries. Passionate about politics, international relations, Mandarin, Spanish and Arabic languages, cross-cultural communication, and Chinese-U.S. relations. U.S. Department of States NSLI-Y Mandarin 2022-2023 Academic Year scholar. Will be studying Government and East Asian studies at Smith College in the fall. Desires a career with the U.S. State Department in the national security/foreign policy sectors using foreign languages. Finishing senior year with a 4.0 UW GPA and a 4.68 W GPA.

• NSLI-Y Mandarin Academic Year Scholarship (08/2022 - 05/2023) Awarded a full scholarship by the State Department under the National Security Language Institute to study Mandarin for an academic year in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
• STARTALK Arabic Language Scholarship (06/2021 - 08/2021) Awarded a scholarship to study Arabic at Penn State under the STARTALK program, a federal grant program managed and funded by the National Security Agency.
• Virtual NSLI-Y (08/2021 - 12/2021) Awarded a full scholarship by the State Department under the National Security Language Institute to study Mandarin in the virtual 8 week program.
• Penn State Language Institute Scholarship (07/2022 - 08/2022) Awarded a scholarship to study Mandarin at Penn State Language Institute.
