As a ride host at Cedar Point was a lot like working at Universal Orlando only on a smaller scale. I provided guest safety by checking all lap bars and restraints on every ride vehicle. Giving proper clear, hold, and crossing hand signals to control booth. Following proper loading and unloading procedures. Performing all necessary pre opening checklists and test runs as well as re-opening test runs. Filling out paperwork defining number of people riding, number of cycles run and by doing this we were very productive in efficiency and capacity. I also provided excellent guest service by spieling on the microphone, answering all guest questions and solving all problems and issues that were brought to my attention. I also received Cedar Point's highest award, the Cornerstone Pin, along with other accolades that can be provided during interview.
