HOSA- Future health professionals August 2021 - May 2023 During my time with HOSA while in high school I did many volunteer opportunities with HOSA classmates and gained leadership skills. B.E.S.T. Program/General nursing program at University of Tampa at Tampa Bay Tech –summer 2022- During my time with B.E.S.T I gained experience in how to talk to patients in a clinical setting via nursing simulator. Learning how to prioritize patients in a medical emergency and basics of nursing foundations. Volunteered summer of 2024 at pioneer medical- During my time volunteering for pioneer I got to help the homeless with hygiene, help with vitals. volunteered with salvation army and checking medical history and medical conditions of individuals that lived at salvation army. Attended Pioneer medical 2023,2024 health fairs – At the Pioneer health fairs in downtown Tampa I helped worked the clothing drive and medical. I helped individuals find clothing and shoes as well as administer hygiene packs.
