Volunteer Experience

(CKC) City Kids Care, I have Volunteered With (CKC) City Kids Care and Who's Who for rent program as well as Complete a 9-week course with the (YPD) Youngstown Citizens Police Academy to assist with strengthening bonds with the community and the police by understanding both sides of the coin and becoming a liaison when needed to inform as well as advocate. I am a multifaceted individual with over 20 years in social services. I have trained, supervised, coordinated, and created programs as well as volunteered my services. With this comes Database experience on 3 different systems, while also bringing to the table basic proficiencies in MS Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and outlook with room to grow.

Additional Information

I have trained staff in case management and reviewed files, overseen operations for facility in the absence of Administration and unit managers. In my roles with little to no supervision because I was entrusted with task to be completed as if the owners and or building admins were present. I am and have worked with diverse populations ranging from 3 years of age and to end of life. I have ongoing trainings that I attend to make sure I am updated with the many changes that occur in social services. I have my own small business called Leaders 4 progress LLC and Safe Spaces 4 Men at its beginning stages. Previous having the former Leaders for Progress of Ohio Inc. Created events and provided events with direction with 3 unpaid staff members. Providing resources to different people within the community as well as creating healthy and long-lasting partnerships. Even in my current role I coordinate services, I form social, family and community bonds for the clients.
