Staples Players

Staples Players is an award-winning student run high school theatre program with over 200 students. Players presents three faculty-directed main-stages and student-directed studio show and One Act play festival performing 20+ shows every year.

Senior Manager of Costumes Crew - In charge of costuming the show, including designing and creating the costumes. Jobs include: creating costume designs and overseeing the designs of others, relegating tasks for efficiency, tracking volunteer hours of junior members, scheduling, sewing costumes, and leading the costumes mentorship program.

Member of Paints Crew - Worked to paint backdrops and furniture for the mainstage productions.

Member of Publicity Crew -Worked to create infographics and distribute flyers for all Players productions.

Understudy -Covering eight different parts in three mainstages, including Sarah Brown and General Cartwright, Guys & Dolls (Fall 2022), and Maleficent, Descendants (Spring 2022) ; learned valuable skills of reliability, responsibility, and observation.

Orphenians

Alto and mezzo soprano. Orphenians is an audition-only specialty choral ensemble that performs in at least three concerts annually, along with a vigorous caroling repertoire throughout the month of December. Orphenians rehearses before and after school, and is contracted by members of the community to perform at gigs throughout the year.

Section Leader (12); Soprano; jobs include: leading rehearsal, selecting repertoire, taking attendance, teaching repertoire to junior members, organizing sign-ups, and being a line of communication between the choral teacher and members of the section.
