I began my journey over ten years ago working at fast food chain restaurants eventually moving into fine dining and then had the time to delve into catering private events and small table gatherings. I am a very engaged and energetic cook and aspire to the title of Head Chef one day. My goal is to learn new techniques and experience new food as well as focus on a local and seasonal forward mindset. I am self-taught and have always wanted to work for engaging and noteworthy restaurants in order to hone my skills and perfect my craft.
I have worked both as a line cook and as a Head Chef this allows me to understand and conduct smooth and efficient lines throughout the entire service. I have also completed and served high volumes of guest with ease. I am a team player that will fit in any station. I practice active communication with each station to ensure that every component of each dish comes out perfectly. I will acknowledge and respond to each member on the line and fully support them when needed and am always open to constructive criticism. Additionally, I have experience in butchery and a keen interest in expanding my knowledge in all culinary fields.
