- Coordinate and lead the Census 2020 campaign in the Chula Vista area with outreach, workshops, and presentations; train and educate CHW Census Ambassadors; partner with CVESD and the City of Chula Vista; and plan and coordinate the Census 2020 events, Facebook Lives, and social media all about the Census.
- Coordinate and lead health contracts and programs, including California Poison Control Prevention, CalFresh, Immigration, STD, and SDG&E care programs.
- Facilitate and lead the Patient-Centered Outcome Research program, including training more than 100 community health workers in California, and submitting reports to the Manager of the Health Disparities Collaborative at the University of Miami.
- Plan and collaborate annually with the Adelante Promotores Conference, which is responsible for program recruitment and the registration/intake process for CHWs and Promotoras.
- Support the community referral specialist in the five family resource centers as a backup with referrals, ETO cases, helping to apply for medical renewal, CalFresh, and housing navigation, and outreach of our programs.
- Design and facilitate the Healthy for Life program with educational training for CHW partners with the American Heart Association for our South Bay community.
- Serve as a CBO representative of the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), attending monthly meetings, planning workshops, focus groups, and leading the outreach and presentations in the South Bay area about SANDAG and the Regional Plan for 2050.
- Lead a Resident Leadership Academy (RLA) at Chula Vista High School with a successful project on recycling, in partnership with the City of Chula Vista.
- Coordinate and plan the annual Health Fair 'Day of the Child' with more than 3,000 attendees in Chula Vista.
- Coordinate and supervise a volunteer group 'Promotoras Active for Community' with monthly meetings, planning projects, budgets, and activities to make a difference and impact the lives for the undeserved community in Chula Vista area.
