- Worked directly with analysts and department heads to draft reports for a combined total of over 50 unique, dynamic reports.
- Singlehandedly built a home grown ETL tool. This tool was capable of both real time and scheduled data warehousing. Was adapted to work with multiple platforms and data source types(MySQL, SQL Server, CSV).
- Built v1 of front end and back end components for companies own reporting engine. Collaborated and oversaw development of subsequent versions. Sectionalized reporting application into portals, grouped by department, with access controls all the way down to the individual report level.
- Wrote all SQL queries to relate and present the data based off of requirements. Carried out server and database optimizations, employed data normalization and denormalization, in order to obtain the best performance.
- Oversaw the creation of training videos, which would showcase the features and power of our reporting engine, for our data consumers.
- Performed tech review on 3rd party commercial BI solutions. Signed off on eventual service provider which was Tableau.
