I recently finished my masters of aerospace engineering degree at NC State University, with a focus on high speed propulsion. I’m in search of a job or internship working remotely in either mechanical or aerospace engineering.
I took several courses in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, such as Compressible Fluid Flow and Advanced Graduate Thermodynamics. As an undergraduate, I received a degree in physics from Davidson College, where I studied different types of physics from classical mechanics to quantum mechanics to electronics. As a graduate student in Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina State University, I worked in the school’s supersonic wind tunnel lab. There, I helped collect data relevant to hypersonic engines such as the shear stresses present on a scramjet.
Ever since I was very young, I have been fascinated by flying. I believe there is still great room for improvement in several aspects of aviation, such as speed and fuel efficiency. I would love to play a part in designing and spreading next generation technologies such as geared turbofans and scramjets. My focus while obtaining my graduate degree was in high speed propulsion design, but I’m very interested in any applicatio related to propulsion or aerodynamics.
