Serve as the Supplier Enablement champion and single business point of contact for supplier enablement into both Ariba and Oracle P2P systems. During Implementation:
• Critical daily executive support to CPO on all engagements, activities & commitments to other vertical leaders
• Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CPO including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes complex and/or confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas within budget; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
• Communicate directly, and on behalf of the CPO, with Board and Supervisory Committee Members, Leadership Team, Management Team and others, on matters related to CPO's initiatives.
Research, prioritize and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CPO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral or response.
• Act as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the CPO updated.
• Provide leadership to build relationships imperative to the success of the organization and manage a variety of special projects for the CPO, some of which have direct organizational impact.
• Serve as Leadership Team Liaison with participation in Leadership team meetings, scheduling & attending all prevalent and impactful appointments
• Provided overall leadership for supplier records. Administered vendor on-boarding process which required registering, validating, and routing new vendors for approval through the P2P Supplier Information Management module. This module provided a dedicated portal for vendor registration.
• Identify vendors that are subject to special internal control requirements
• Collection of W-9’s supplier vendor information & organization of supplier contact details to prepare for Ariba enablement
• Cataloging of supplier data for Caesars’ enterprise of over 40 properties domestically
• Direct communication with suppliers to complete onboarding to transact with Caesars
• Wing to wing oversight into planning, organizing, implementing and controlling work procedures, schedules and programs related to purchase, with delivery to be followed and validate operator receives the goods as targeted and established standards are met.
• Competitively quote and negotiate best supplier pricing for fabrics and furniture.
• Manage vendor’s production performance and track delivery dates status to ensure compliance with project milestone.
• Work with the accounting department to ensure all invoices are finalized prior to closing project books.
• Assist operations in selection of additional or replacement furniture.
• POC with suppliers and procure requested samples and participate in testing products.
• Document management in a systematic and auditable fashion.
• Develop metrics for projected on-site date delivery schedule for each project; communicate lead time and availability impact to ensure timely arrival of furniture.
• Demonstrated ability to personally connect with guests while ensuring that all guest needs are exceeded.
• Planning & execution of tournaments and events to increase guest satisfaction.
• Perform various responsibilities including the preparation of work schedules to maximize business effectiveness.
• Lead and influence staff through effective motivation, leveraging individual strengths to ensure guest satisfaction and maximum productivity.
