- Freshmen mentors visited one Freshman homeroom once a week for a semester. The time was spent giving advice to freshmen concerning the adjustment to high school life, helping students develop organized schedules, and running daily icebreakers for the classroom.

- Captain of the throwers portion of the Avon Grove High Schools track and field team for two years.
- Duties included leading the team, motivating teammates, encouraging good behavior, demonstrating hard work, planning ice-breakers, and helping the new team members adjust to a balanced student-athlete life. Emphasis was placed on the comfortability of new members, with intention to make them more comfortable with the team and their transition into the high school environment.

Avon Grove Recreation Association Track Program

- Avon Grove Recreation Association track camp counselors volunteered for two hours, three times a week during the program’s three week duration.
- Counselors ran a track station for each age group of ten to twenty campers, ages ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade. Personal duties included planing the activities for the throwing station, then executing them for campers.
