As a student at Santa Fe High Schoolduring the tragic Santa Fe High School shootingon May 18, 2018, I experienced unimaginable loss and adversity at a young age. Through grief, hardship, and personal obstacles, softball became more than a sport — it became my source of strength, healing, discipline, and purpose. Those experiences shaped my commitment to helping others find confidence, resilience, and belonging through athletics. I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where players grow not only as athletes, but as strong individuals capable of overcoming adversity both on and off the field.
